Sales Specialist, Logistics – Parramatta Sydney
Our client is a global ICT company offering a variety of ICT services based on its vast experience and accumulated technological capabilities, as well as its excellent partnerships and human resources all over the world.
They were incorporated to meet the growing demand in the market for efficient Supply Chain Management (SCM) and logistics systems.
They provide personalized SCM/Logistics solutions aligned with the varying needs of companies based on its own integrated Supply Chain & Logistics solution called “Cello”. Depending on the customers’ needs, various solution combinations are offered which ensures a steady information exchange among the solutions and connections within the systems.
Our client is newly established in 2014 based on Parramatta CBD. They provide quality and sophisticated logistics service to our value customers using “Cello” system.
They are currently looking for a self-motivated Sales Specialist to join their team.
BROAD SCOPE:
Sales Specialist is an energetic, self-motivated individual who shows no fear nor hesitation when it comes to hunting down and sourcing new business. This is a very competitive business and ‘work will not just land in your lap’ – Sales Specialist will be expected to be innovative in ‘getting the foot in the door’ so that He/she can present how we can assist their business through providing an efficient and technologically modern approach – this is where industry knowledge will greatly benefit.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proven sales history in a similar role, having the ability to hit the ground running.
- Ability to hunt down sales opportunities at every opportunity.
- Self-starter, highly motivated goes without saying.
- Excellent communications and strong customer service skills will be paramount.
- Good time management skills and well organised in maintaining records of discussions
- Comply with company internal process and procedure
REQUIREMENTS:
- Logistics sales experience is mandatory.
- New business development experience.
- Research and development skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Implementation of sales strategies to increase new business opportunities.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s degree, logistics related degree is preferred
- Residence Visa or Citizen
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in Logistics (Import/Export) sales
- Logistics IT sales (TMS/WMS) is preferred
- Project planning / Project experience is preferred
- Bidding experience is preferred
SKILLS:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively
- Effective problem solving and mediation skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ms office Skills (PPT/Excel/Word).
